SWEEPSEASON

How to Play Sweep Season

  1. 1 · Spin. Each of 12 rounds rolls a random team + era (e.g., Dallas 2004–2008). You'll see every qualifying player from that window with real stats.
  2. 2 · Draft. Pick one player per spin into an open slot — offense first (QB, RB, WR, TE, 2 FLEX), then defense (EDGE, DT, LB, CB, S, D-FLEX). One re-roll per side of the ball.
  3. 3 · Weigh your picks. QB counts ×1.5, EDGE and CB ×1.2. One weak starter drags the whole roster — there are no hiding spots.
  4. 4 · Watch the season. Your squad plays a 20-game gauntlet against all-time great teams — 17 regular season, 3 playoff rounds, each game narrated. 9+ wins makes the playoffs; 20-0 is the Clean Sweep.
  5. 5 · Share the story. Copy your spoiler-free result strip and dare a friend on your exact spins.

FAQ

What is Sweep Season?

A free daily NFL roster-builder game. Spin random team-eras, draft 12 all-time legends, then watch a simulated 20-game season play out against history's best teams. Win all 20 and you've swept the season.

How are players rated?

Era-adjusted ratings built from public play-by-play data (1999–2024): every player-season is scored against its own season's peers at the same position, so stars from different decades compare fairly. Impact plays — touchdowns, sacks, interceptions — weigh the most.

Why do QB, EDGE and CB count more?

Premium positions decide real football games. QB counts ×1.5 and EDGE/CB ×1.2 toward your squad strength — spend your best spins there.
